Review on Airaid 251 252 SynthaMax Filter Intake by Michael Vargas

I don't understand the hole for the MAF sensor fits like a glove so they knew the size and you got the filter wrong ? The mass air flow sensor was 3 inches, but the filter was closer to 3.75 inches. I'm guessing here, but there was a good half inch of difference, and I'm worried about the band getting hot and not paying more than $400, which I shouldn't have. worry about. Some context, I've been a mechanic for 24 years, I know what I'm doing. The entire installation would have taken me 30 minutes, but it took me just over an hour trying to find a better way than duct tape. I'm going to buy a neck that bolts on the same way as the MAF sensor but is larger to ensure the filter is a tight fit. I bought a pre-filter for this and think it is necessary. After all that I'm glad not to return the product which sounds good.
