This is a handy little tool! I have to admit I didn't use it the way it was supposed to be used (in a drill press) but I used it in a hand drill and it did the job every time. I used it to cut a 3.5" hole in a plastic tank and it went through the material like a hot knife through butter. This hole was a bit more labor intensive than the reservoir as the cutter was able to grab the material and stop hard because I tilted the bit a bit. . I've never seen wear on an HSS cutter, but if it starts to wear it can always be changed on the grinder. this tool will no doubt be widely used for years to come as it is far more versatile than a hole saw.
