Review on DeWalt DXCM024 0343 Double Premium Rubber Air Hose by Greg Mcnealey

I lived with a $25 hose reel for years and finally settled on this Dewalt retractable reel. This is a durable two sleeve design that looks cool when loaded. I'm a big Dewalt fan, so this brightens up the garage. It took me about two hours to hang as I had to connect the ceiling joists with 2x4's to ensure a strong ceiling mount. I used 4 x 5" long 3/8" screws to attach the 2x4 to the ceiling, two of which double as fasteners for the two holes in the mounting plate. I used 2" screws for the other two holes. I think this will provide a secure fit and I don't have to worry about someone pulling it on me. I had to adjust the tension, it was a relatively easy process, depressurizing the system, removing the plastic plug at the end of the hose, pulling it out about 2ft and wrapping the excess hose around the wheel while it was still blocked.This created a little more tension for the last few yards..this Thing is much easier to use than the old one, very happy with this purchase!
