Review on 💻 SilverStone Mini-STX Computer Case RS232 Cutout, Dual 2.5" HDD/SSD Support, VESA Mounting Kit - VT02B by Saber Spencer

I used it to build a KodiBox with LibreElec (this OS is highly recommended). I didn't go for thinner (but wider) devices as they only support one 2.5" drive and I needed support for two. There's also room for an M.2 drive. The back has retractable holes for two WiFi antennas as well as an RS232 (serial) port. Additionally, there are two retractable Type-A USB ports on the top of the case, although I've yet to figure out what actually mounts there (extra USB ports or whatever). If anyone has a link to a compatible product please let me know. I was very pleased that the standard Intel cooler fits easily in this case. However, I replaced it with a Noctua NH-L9i and used the included low-noise adapter, which makes the setup virtually silent. Now features that make the case even better: - The power button is solid and has a very pleasing tactile click. , but the force required to push is enough to move the light body. I'll attach velcro or something to keep it still. I'm currently holding the top of the case with my fingers while pressing the power button with my thumb. Small annoyance, but still room for improvement. The body surface is made of wood. Let users know what the retractable USB Type-A ports on top are for in the included manual. It's not listed anywhere and I still don't know what to install there. Magnetic dust filters for the top and both sides are included or optionally available. It's easy enough to blow through the case due to the ample perforations on the top and sides of the case, but it would be nice to reduce most of the dust build-up inside. Add standoffs and longer mobo mounting screws to accommodate 15mm 2.5" drives if user desires. This reduces CPU cooler clearance by 5.5mm, but is still compatible with low-profile coolers like the Noctua NH-L9i. The stock Intel cooler might also be compatible, but I didn't measure to be sure. Overall the VT02B is great. With these few suggestions, it would be perfect.
