It fit a little tight, which is good, and took about a minute.
It took more effort to install correctly than what I took out. However, since this filters out very small particles, even a slightly loose fit greatly increases the likelihood of leaks. I paid close attention to the little tabs sticking up and down to make sure they fit properly in the open slots and then everything was fine. The lid, held in place by three spring-loaded twist-lock latches, fits snugly without protruding when put on. The filter material looks like it has a base layer and then some kind of fabric layer on top. I would buy this filter again.
