Well I installed them on July 5th. Was hoping for easy installation and quieter garage doors. With all the high ratings from the reviews, I was excited to see the results. Didn't happen. When I took out my old metal casters that have been there since the house was built in 1993, I noticed that they are actually quite quiet and spin easily. So I wondered if this role swap would solve the problem. One way or another, the deed was done. I filmed the door going up and down to check the noise level. Then they filmed the door again as the videos were swapped. I do not care. There was still the creaking and squeaking and creaking as the door opened and closed. I was disappointed. But what I did next changed the noise a lot. I had a can of dry silicone spray on hand and sprayed it on all 12 metal hinges on the garage door and that was it. I only heard the usual and expected noises coming from the door. I didn't hear the rattles, squeaks and creaks like before. I was very pleased. Now my garage door works and I no longer flinch once it makes a noise. Lubricate the hinges before buying these casters.
