I put 2 on my dog kennel
My dog figured out how to get out with one latch. So I purchased another one so there’s a backup but my dog bends the top part of the latch and the latch mechanism falls off and onto the ground. I have to wire the top part of the latch with bailing wire. Sometimes I put a backup bailing wire around the gate for extra security to keep my dog in his kennel. I had to also put a top on the kennel or he will jump over a 6 foot fence/kennel. He also chewed threw the chain link fencing so I replaced it with 2X4 - 6 gauge horse panels.
- Not sure what kind of galvanize it has on it. It looks sprayed.
- The Heavy Duty HITTITE 36 Chain Link Double Gate Drop Rod is quite heavy and can be difficult to install, especially for those who are not used to working with metal gates and chains
