I used 80 year old pine boards that I pulled from our cottage before we tore it down and built a new house. The look we wanted was perfect for my wife's sewing room in our basement. The instructions were pretty good and the packaging of all the parts and pieces was excellent. Nothing scratched or damaged. I would give 5 stars but there is one downside. Plastic drywall anchors for anchor bolts didn't do the job. They came loose as soon as I put pressure on them as I was screwing them in. I ended up getting holes in the drywall every 16 inches and had to do another assembly to attach the rail to the wall. Luckily I'm doing pretty well. I found workarounds and it turned out as I hoped. Incidentally, my bolts weren't positioned to install a pre-drilled batten to allow the door to completely cover the opening, so I had to try using plastic anchors.
