If you encounter a dropping transmission pan problem, it's a no-brainer. Trust me, I made the mistake of using an aftermarket gasket about three months ago and it started leaking like crazy. I used a felpro gasket (usually felpro is great) but their pan gasket is absolute rubbish. It was said to be reusable but when I went to swap it out for this Mopar today it broke into about 3 pieces after only 3 months of use! So if you're reading this and have any doubts about what to use, I highly recommend purchasing this gasket from the factory. This is high performance rubber with a metal core and I have no doubt that if I drop my pan another 30,000 miles it will be ready to go another 30,000!
