. Arrived safely. All accessories have been considered. Then I went to the installation. Pretty easy to install on my 2014 Ram 1500. No you don't have to lower the spare but it certainly makes it a lot easier. I think I would have spent about 30-40 minutes installing it if there weren't any issues. Pretty good. But when I put the first bolt in the bumper, I noticed that the hitch was tilted to the right. I thought it would straighten out after the rest of the installation, but when I got under the truck and took a closer look at the hitch, you could see it wasn't welded straight on. Since I was halfway through, I went ahead and installed it. The hitch feels solid and installation is a breeze for a DIYer. It looks good, but it's clear something is wrong. The tilt to the right is very clear. quality control? It doesn't seem to exist. Knowing what I'm doing now, I should have chosen a different brand.
