Review on 🔒 Enhanced Power Tailgate Lock (PL8340) for Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 Models by Allen Wagner

I bought this product because I thought it would be a great way to deter thieves from taking over my trunk. The first 2 weeks were great. It blocks and unblocks just the way I need it. After that, he will have problems and will only be locked and unlocked after several attempts. Now I'm in the position that it locks randomly and doesn't unlock at all. I use my truck to pick up and deliver groceries to low-income families, so it has to work properly. Unfortunately it isn't. (I double checked all my wiring and connections whenever I had problems, but everything is hooked up as it should be.) I now drive with the tailgate open from the inside so I can manually unlock the mechanism.
