Not for freezing winters, won't keep warm
I was looking for a winter coat for my son that is not big and bulky but will keep him warm in our cold upstate New York winters. After reading the description I was expecting something similar to the Columbia ski jacket in design. This coat will keep you dry and acts like a windbreaker, it will NOT keep you warm or keep you warm. I would say it's better for early fall and best in spring.
