My Shimano dual platform clip pedals finally bit the dust. The replacements were a bit steep so I decided to try these. So far so good. Lighter and well made at a much lower cost. Was concerned that the plastic wouldn't hold up but they are really solid. Venzo makes a very similar pedal in metal if that is a concern.They went on fairly easily although they don't have flats on the shank for a 15mm wrench like the Shimano and others. Just a 6mm allen slot that is accessed from the other side of the crank. Not a problem once I read the instructions.They are labeled as mountain bike but I use them for the road. The flat sides are great for the short trips with regular shoes.
