Review on 🐾 Stylish Petmate Kennel Cab by Jaime Pulley

A 10 pound dog or cat would not feel comfortable in this cage. My 10kg dog doesn't even fit in it. Luckily it's not for her. I bought this cage for my 5 year old dog who is only 3 pounds. She has to step sideways to enter the door, as the door is fixed in such a way that its rear end protrudes into the door frame when the door is open. The size of the door is 7 1/4 x 9 (if you remove the door). USABLE SPACE in this cage is approximately 16 1/2 inches long, 9 inches wide, and 8 1/2 inches high. It would be nice if the product description included some measurements rather than an estimate of the size of the dog that would fit inside, which is not entirely accurate. Also, don't bother buying the recommended "small" Midwest fleece pad, it's too big to even fit in a drawer! I ended up having to buy an "extra small" fleece liner from Wal-Mart. So unless you have a 3 pound dog that never gets bigger like me, just ditch that cage and get something bigger. I don't really like this crate but my dog has only used it as an extra bed since then, I'll probably keep using it now and eventually replace it. Also, if you buy one of these crates don't particularly trust the latches when using it for transport Immediately wrap the box with elastic cord and leave it there for safety reasons You don't want it to pop open unexpectedly when your dog is inside Very fragile construction PS Please note these locking boxes are not approved by airlines.
