At first glance this looks like a decent product. Well built looks, decent cord length. So I hooked it up to my outdoor Wyze cam around 4pm on the first day. On my phone screen, this camera showed a loading indicator. In one hour the camera was 90-77% discharged. After sunset and the disappearance of the charge indicator, the camera worked all night with a discharge of only one percent. I checked at 8:00 the next morning, only the sun was peeping out and the charge light was on. I work the 3rd shift at night, so I go to bed. I woke up at 4pm and checked the camera battery status and it dropped to 15%. If the solar panel didn't have a blocking diode, it would discharge in the dark overnight, so I don't really understand what's going on. here. However, I will continue to do some more testing with the panel to ensure it works as intended on other products. If something changes, I can go back and change or amend my review. Then I can send it back.
