Review on Electric scooter KUGOO M4 11 Ah, up to 120 kg, black by Velizar Yanev ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's not all bad, an average quality purchase.

In fact, this unit deserves a lower rating, but since this is perhaps the best price / quality / performance ratio of existing electric scooters, this rating is most appropriate. And yet, if it is important for you to know - the scooter is very durable on impact, of those two blows that it suffered (relatively serious) not one of them affected the performance in any way, of which: a collision with a concrete decorative flower bed (accidentally), a little bit wrong with the calculations, so to speak, and in terms of dimensions did not fit into the space between the two of them due to a miscalculation in the displacement to the left, only the flower bed suffered ( considering that it was pentagonal, I “cut the corner” for her, so to speak); the second case was a collision with a person on a rented scooter, I would say "rental rider", there were no casualties, damages and comments from both sides, the scooter also took the hit with dignity, like the front wheel.

Pros
  • Good quality/price ratio; The presence of a seat; I'm thin, and not very tall, so God forbid, he pulls me (on charging 10-15% +); The speed is very high (they write up to 45, but believe me, as a lightweight with not very high growth, I can say that - yes, but no, in fact the maximum is 40, 45 is a speed from 100 to 80 percent, after this "percentage milestone" it will not be very easy to accelerate above 40, but for a two-wheeled scooter with not very wide wheels it is really very fast), so the presence of a seat is very handy; A reserve of 30 kilometers for a not very large city like Hong Kong is the most (preferably more, of course, but this is a necessary minimum); The seat is soft and made of quality material; The scooter itself is also completely made of metal of fairly good quality; The folding and unfolding scooter mount is very strong and reliable; Beautiful appearance of the scooter; External LED illumination on the sides (some will consider this as a minus, but it’s better if I shine with all the colors of not only the rainbow and I will be clearly visible before I get hit by a car) saves your life in the dark (especially if you eat without light at night (why then) and also like a scooter in black); turn signals; Beep (weak, unremarkable, but if they don’t hear in one beep, press 10 times or hold).
Cons
  • Backlash, almost every part of this infernal stool creaks godlessly and tends to fall off (so far nothing has fallen off, but it only seems that way by sounds); The quality of the wheels and the chamber for them is disgusting, the rear wheel was pierced twice, as a result, I decided to take a smarter one without a chamber, after the trip my butt aches, but at least I’m not afraid of punctures (surprisingly, the front wheel behaves like a solid machine wheel - it doesn’t pierce easily , does not descend, does not erase, but it is understandable, my carcass does not press on it, unlike the back one); The wrenches in the set are terrible if you want to tighten a loose nut - no problem, they are enough for you, but if you want to tighten it well, straight from the heart, you would rather twist the wrench itself into a steering wheel than tighten the bolt; All the "illumination" is as weak as possible, they will certainly see you, but with a front lamp you will not see anything further than the light of the same telephone flashlight (5-6 meters), also from the cold (from +5 to -5 and below, below minus 7 is not traveled) lights (if they were turned on during such a trip) are "jammed" glowing constantly without the possibility of turning off (even brake lights, even after turning off / on); Illumination on the sides is not disabled; Repulsive mounting and location of the motor wheel, with a similar mounting, removing the tire without removing the hydro insulation becomes impossible (except when you have a set of special tools for this business and a couple of very strong people, including you); Super stiff, non-adjustable springs on both wheels, maybe if your weight is 100+, the ride will be more pleasant, but it’s very hard for me to drive on Hong Kong roads, and Hong Kong apparently loves brick paths very much, and pedestrian roads are apparently designed for off-road radio-controlled testing machines.
