Excellent Rear View Camera System for Furrion Ready Vans

This is an excellent high definition rear view camera system for Furrion Ready Vans. I looked at some cheaper cameras that should be compatible with the Furrion but they required an adapter plate and ended up with the camera coming out of the Furrion mount. This camera replaces the installed Furrion mount and uses the existing screw holes. The appearance is very clean and professional. However, you need to purchase an adapter cable to connect the camera to the Furrion wiring. This adapter cable only comes with an unneeded bracket adapter plate. In my opinion, Haloview should have included an adapter cable with the camera. You'll need a Haloview B-F02 Backup Camera Bracket Adapter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SBTPHCM?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Again, just throw the plate away - you don't need it. You can also purchase a Haloview windshield mount: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q4SJXF9?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details There is plenty of room inside the camera mount for factory wiring and adapter cables. It's a tight fit! You may need to enlarge the hole in the center of the gasket to accommodate the factory wiring. There are two small cable openings on the edge of the camera mount, one at the top and one at the bottom. They are not needed if you are using Furrion wiring. I filled these holes with a small amount of black silicone sealant to make the unit waterproof. Camera and display are factory connected for channel 4. Installation time was 15 to 20 minutes. I dragged my trailer with the camera for two hours and it worked great. I highly recommend this system. For a full review, visit the Love Your RV YouTube channel. Ray writes great direct reviews of RV products and has a two part review of BT7. He compares this system to the previous Haloview system and shows how he hooked up the fifth wheel (without the Furrion prep). He also has a multi-camera version of this system.
