A necessity you didn't know existed!

They're great for marking that mess of string! I've used them behind the TV to mark which cable goes with which component, making life easier when I need to replace or troubleshoot a cable. Also, since I'm in the military and move around a lot, I can just toss all the cables in the box and quickly figure out which cable goes where when I reinstall everything. I've also found them useful for marking all those power cords lying around the house that I occasionally trip over and wonder "what the heck is that good for?" I use a desktop label printer to print labels and just sticking them on those ties.
