I didn't give stars for accuracy because I haven't actually verified it, but it seems pretty accurate. And you don't have to crank it up to 60 minutes and then back down to any setting. Just turn it outside of your setting (so if you want 15 minutes turn it to 20 and then back to 15). The ringtone is longer than other timers I've used and quite loud. The magnet is good and strong. Strong enough to set the timer without supporting it with your other hand, but not strong enough to be removed from a surface with a crowbar. The thing shines. The clicking is loud enough to tell you it's working, but not so loud as to be distracting. It actually has a nice ticking sound with polyrhythmic action as it approaches "time". The lid/handle is a bit flimsy, but that shouldn't be a problem. No idea about longevity. the time will show. (Yes, I know. Overkill.) Did I mention it's shiny?
