They are much larger than I expected. (Vina herself - a few years ago I bought them on Kickstarter skinny and they fit in a bottle, so it's more than I expected.) They're too big to fit in a bottle, so you'll need a glass or one other containers to "age" them. . I actually bought them to use in vanilla extract. I broke half of a chopstick into pieces and placed in a glass jar along with 16 Ugandan vanilla beans and filled with vodka. This made the vanilla very dark and smoky. If you're using it to flavor liquor, keep an eye on it. It can be overwhelming if you let it steep for too long.
