but so far it's better than the original

Starts twice as fast as the original. Now the engine starts in less than a full revolution, while before it took 2-4 revolutions! I suspect it's because they added a rubber/plastic washer to the friction surface, which makes the splines snap faster. .thus picking up speed faster. We'll see how long it lasts, but so far it's a lot better than the original. Considering the original died after 4 years and only 200 hours I don't see anything worse!
