Terrible hooks, this is the worst purchase I have ever made from Revain. The description says they should be finished and smooth and should get smoother with use. This is an absolute fake, these hooks are not sanded (or at least barely sanded) and the wood has chipped off some of the hook heads. All hooks were useless and snagged on my yarn. I even tried sanding and sealing them myself and although they became smoother after careful sanding, which took me a long time, the shape of the hook head and upper shank of the hook was such that the seams got messed up and it was incredibly difficult to knit with. Still not smooth enough after a good grind. Forget getting into the rhythm! Don't buy these hooks! You will only disappoint! They would be zero stars if I could.
