Review on YITAMOTOR Towing Mirrors for Dodge Ram - Chrome Power Heated LED Turn Signal Puddle Lamp - Compatible with Ram 2009-2018 1500, 2010-2018 2500 3500 by Jeff Rothstein

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi with the Big Horn package. These mirrors are of good quality and for the most part easy to assemble. Can't say 15 minutes like the other review but I'm not that mechanical either. When I cut the front latch and figured out how to remove the panels from each door, I probably had an hour and ten minutes for both. Nice Pro's mirrors (chrome really makes them stand out) turn signals, puddle lights and power adjustment. everything worked (not sure about the heat until I need it this winter) Pretty easy to install Second mirror to see your blind spot is a plus. If your genuine truck mirrors have all of these features, no programming is required. No, as far as I can tell, vibration or shaking while driving on the road (fixed mirrors). minuses. Only I have a small problem and they seem to whistle a little on the street, but I can get used to it because of the price. The front screw is the right size, otherwise it will scratch the paint. I don't know why the manufacturer didn't supply a shorter screw. I think all Dodges that this mirror fits need this modification. Here are the steps I took to install. 1) Remove the door panel and wiring from the switches (YouTube has a good A1 car for removing door panels). 3) Using a hacksaw, cut the front screw on the new mirror to 5/8 inch length. I left all the packaging on to prevent the mirror from cracking, otherwise the paint in the door will be damaged. 4) Install the mirror and connect the mirror wires to the socket on the door, I believe the new mirror's black plug went into socket 2 and the white plug into socket 1 on my door. 5) Check functionality to make sure everything is working. .Overall really good mirrors for the price. The whistle is the only issue I have and I can live with that as it's not very loud. 8-31-18 *********(*If I hope this helps someone else My passenger mirror was hit by another truck and the black plastic ripped off They didn't even bother to tell me crap The mirror still only works cosmetically Not the seller's fault Looking ahead I suggest replacing the mirror to rub in public places :(
