We live north of Seattle, Washington and get very cold winter nights. The husband is a gentle man and keeps a hot water bottle on the porch for the wild cats we feed. I saw this animal pillow and thought it was perfect. But before I posted it for cats and wrote a review, I obviously tried it myself. WOW! The animals must continue to use the heating pad they currently have, or better yet, I will buy another heating pad that is so great!. I keep him on my bed (and the lost cat who showed up two weeks ago and immediately turned into a house bed cat loves him). I have a lot of back pain and have been through a lot of heating pads and stuff like that over the years. That's absolutely the best I've linked. It's huge! A promotional photo of a big dog on one is no exaggeration! The washable, zippered soft case fits perfectly over a heavy plastic overlay. The controls are digital and very easy to use. Temperature is regulated from very low to high, and I mean temperature regulation, not low/medium/high. It has a timer and can be set to a maximum of 48 hours for security reasons. The cable is long and heavy but very flexible, you don't want to chew it! The price was comparable to other standard heating pads but this one is much better. Huge, adjustable temperatures, long setting time (and seems pretty chew resistant to me at least). Whether you need an indoor or outdoor pet cushion, this is what you need.
