It started going down by itself!
The tire itself began to sink on the pavement! Luckily he wasn't on the road when he collapsed. Original review: Spare tire tools have a different shape than the part. I sanded the sides to fit the tool. My old spare tire bracket was rusty and I took it off a long time ago so I can't compare. I have an M8x25 screw for this. The part fell where it belonged and earned after I modified it. I have small hands and was able to do this without lifting the bed.
