Good investment, albeit some work.

Like the previous reviewer, I own an old Grizzly G1022SM table saw that was quickly upgraded to a "Z" version with cast iron blades and an updated fence. Since it is impossible to get parts for it, I take very good care of the saw. I have just completed a complete disassembly, removing the trunnion and cleaning, inspecting and repackaging the bearings. Carefully assembled and adjusted, still works perfectly. I am a laminator and need a complete insert. This one measured correctly and I placed the order. On arrival I compared it to the existing insert and found it was too wide and too long, but not by much. Luckily at a well stocked store I used a benchtop disc/belt sander to completely remove the right side tabs and cut about 1/16 inch from the front to ensure a snug fit. to cut about half the size to allow it to sit under the table and adjust properly.Of course, having removed so much of the front, I had to countersink the adjustment screw threads again to align the adjustment screw with the insert. OK, now we're ready. The insert works as advertised with a slight bulge towards the middle of the insert which I'm not concerned about. As long as it keeps chips from getting between the blade and insert, I'm fine with that. The last thing I did I unscrewed the set screws from the liner and dripped hot glue into the threads. I immediately blew out the hot-melt adhesive with compressed air, leaving a thin layer of adhesive on the threads. The adjusting screws are now locked and can be moved again with a little effort. That's exactly what I wanted. Now it works perfectly, input and output without adjustments. If you have a decently stocked store, you can customize and customize it. Worth the money and I will be buying a few more for dado work. Highly recommend if you don't mind working a little to get the right size.
