Review on TOKO T8 Wax Iron - Yellow, 800 Watts: An Efficient Tool for Waxing by Patrick Reid

I was initially skeptical of some of the negative reviews about intermittent heat and poor construction and I can safely say that these people received bad hardware or something happened in shipping. This iron is amazing. I didn't want to pay $70 either, but figured I needed the right tool since I polish my skis and snowboards regularly. I can't believe I've been using old irons for so long. The skis took 5 minutes to wax, in fact it took 10 times longer for them to cool sufficiently to be properly cleaned. The iron had a high consistency and melted the wax at 130°C for spotting and spreading without smoking or cooling. I was surprised. I'm glad I bought a good one and I'm thrilled. I have used Hertel HotSauce Wax and am very satisfied.
