Very sturdy and attractive chess set
I'm learning to play chess, and my husband (and teacher) wanted a nicer set for me to learn on. This one is beautiful and has a great carry case, which is important since we travel. The only issue we had was that the Queens and the Rooks look quite a bit alike. We used a sharpie to draw a circle in the Queens' crowns, and that solved the problem, which might not have been a problem for a long-time player. The pieces have a nice heft, and they move smoothly across the board once you put the stick-on pads on the bottom. The packaging was terrific!
