This is a high quality door handle with lock. The bronze finish is smooth, even and attractive. It also seems to last for years. The latch can benefit from a small amount of oil. Otherwise, it moves and functions without much fuss. The installation requires a little patience, as you have to align the latch and strike plate exactly. I also find that this type of pull works best in solid core doors. In a hollow core you can end up cutting away much of the side support and weakening the door structure. I think I prefer round versions for this situation. A jigsaw and a screwdriver are all you need. You will need to keep the cutout hole the correct size as there is very little overhang on the sides of the bar. You may also need to attach a piece of solid wood to the back of the door to allow room for the rear screws to attach. The simplest thing about this style is that your neckline is just one rectangle, not two separate elongated holes. .This is a good quality gear set. I would recommend it to others over similar products. 5 Stars.
