Review on πŸ”Œ Enhance Your Nest Thermostat with the Google Nest Power Connector - Convenient C Wire Adapter and Accessories for Smart Thermostats by Casey Vance

Revainrating 5 out of 5

No "C-Wire " required - Works well - Just heat Setup took a few minutes

Check any "stupid" issues first! Okay - First of all, I've seen a couple of reviews on here that say you NEED C-Wire, when actually it's not true. What you need to make sure is that your HVAC or furnace has the *C* connector on the circuit board. I bought this for my 1987 gas oven, it only had a red/white wire but the circuit board was C/G/Y/W/R. You can check this by looking at the panel on the circuit board and looking for the letter "C". I connected the R/W wires to the headers and R/W and C to the board and you're done! There is a nice video by Tech with Brett on YouTube that was very helpful for DIYers. box and wired the thing up as instructed, but it *didn't* work on my thermostat. I checked the wiring and circuit breakers and did a few resets. Miraculously my chute didn't work because I accidentally **didn't close the oven service panel properly***. There is a switch/knob sticking out and your oven will NOT turn on unless the oven door is properly secured to the oven. Finally, when you're done with the setup, go back to the Nest Thermostat and run a performance test. This should confirm whether you have configured it correctly or not. Hope that helps!
