Very strong yet surprisingly flexible. I don't know if they are real 4ga but they look like it. Good size clamps with excellent grip; The jaws have lots of teeth and a bit more length for more versatile connections and connect very well with cables. This set had all the features I wanted: large, secure, comfortable clips with a good grip and jaw design; thick wire with strong connections, 25 feet long; A decent case that makes getting in and out easier than any I've had before and easy to read, user-friendly instructions that are prominently displayed on the case for a quick and secure connection.
