I found the instructions on the box to be incomplete, so my experience may be due to doing something wrong. I smeared a thin coat of glue onto the plywood backing, waited for it to turn clear and tacky, laid the vinyl on, lifted the corner as indicated to test adhesion, leaving a light load consisting of 2x6 boards that about 6 inches apart were friend, above. Vinyl for the night. After two days I took the boards off and the vinyl wasn't sticking. The plywood backing was sticky but didn't hold the vinyl properly. If you know what you're doing with this stuff, that might be great, but for a beginner, the results were unsatisfactory.
