It definitely sticks

This product is extremely difficult to work with. The consistency was so fluffy that it was almost impossible to apply to the wall and while I'm not a professional I've been in the tile and flooring business for over 50 years. I was expecting the consistency to be similar to peanut butter and it was more like yogurt. My applicator trowel and knife had to be soaked in acetone and cleaned with goo-b-gone to be usable again. The product is not for the faint of heart.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Super Adhesive Best in Adhesives and Sealants

Loved this stuff! Okay so we have these pre and post install peel and stick tiles and they look amazing, they are starting to show up. Lesson learned and I bought this stuff and wow no kidding it works great. I used a brush to paint the back of the tiles and let them dry for 24 hours and they didn't move. I have a huge Ashley dresser and some very heavy pieces of solid wood and once dry I pushed them onto the tile and they didn't move at all. This stuff works, but move fast and try not to getโ€ฆ

Why 3 stars? I will tell you.

You know surveys where you either completely agree or don't agree at all. Well, 3 stars is sort of a "neither agree nor disagreeโ€ rating. This material can permanently bond some things. But it didn't work on vinyl floors. Of course it's sticky. And if I take the board after a week, for example, it opens easily. I can see him stretching from floor to vinyl like a spider man who's thrown up. So it sticks to the ground. And it sticks to vinyl. Something is wrong in the middle. I used a thin layerโ€ฆ

I wasn't very well.

I found the instructions on the box to be incomplete, so my experience may be due to doing something wrong. I smeared a thin coat of glue onto the plywood backing, waited for it to turn clear and tacky, laid the vinyl on, lifted the corner as indicated to test adhesion, leaving a light load consisting of 2x6 boards that about 6 inches apart were friend, above. Vinyl for the night. After two days I took the boards off and the vinyl wasn't sticking. The plywood backing was sticky but didn't holdโ€ฆ
