I have a hobby that requires the use of high speed rotary drill bits to shape and trim wood, plastic or softer metals define ( Copper, Silver, I really enjoyed finding this quality set of 10 one-piece, 1/4" shank fine-grain Tungsten Carbide (TC) bits, made specifically for use with a high-speed hand rotary tool or a straight grinder (I prefer DeWalt) These are high quality bits that come in a plastic bit holder to prevent damage from impact.Tungsten Carbide is very hard but can be brittle and prone to chipping when replaced by another bit or a hard steel tool. 10 shapes of these are shown in the photos. These are not standard end mills or end mills in the St il of milling machines. Their particular shape allows me to get to the smallest crevices and areas on my work piece so I can cut/shape. When used on steel, they require a slightly lower speed. Durable due to the hardness of TC, but a lighter touch will extend the life of the drill than hard pressure during use. They're well made and a useful set of ridges with better shapes. ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION WITH FACE PROTECTION! High-speed rotating tools WILL throw debris that can cause serious injury. Safety first!
