Review on Kwikset 93001 913 Privacy Polished Brass by Sean Maples

I've installed a decent number of doorknobs since my childhood home survived for a number of years so I consider myself fairly experienced. However, this doorknob is a nuisance due to the way the screws hold the escutcheon in place, and the metal used for the escutcheon itself is extremely malleable. I found the latter as the cheap supplied screws kept coming off and my screwdriver slipped sideways, hitting the rose and leaving obscene dents with little to no force. The only reason this didn't get 1 star was because I was able to actually install it (albeit with a lot of sweat and regret as I would definitely have returned it if I hadn't already gone through the installation issue) and it works. Good. To be honest, the cheaper $8 Defiant doorknobs I got at my local Home Depot are way better than this one. I don't recommend at all.
