I tried to use it on a mega board and it worked fine, but then I started to get bugs to get. After a lot of research I may have figured out why. This may be because this device only wants to work on 3.3V. I used 3.3V for power but the data lines are 5V. I ordered another brand that is rated to run on 5V. I'll see if it's my problem. Also, it looks well built and I expect it will work fine in a 3.3V system.
