Go to your car before you buy it. Open the door and stand on the threshold. Then look at the door latch (where that step will be placed) and ask yourself if you really want a step in that spot. In my case I have a 2020 Honda Pilot and the latches for both doors are very high on the door frame and if I were to stand on this product the roofline of my car would be at waist level. It's so high I could almost climb onto the roof of my car! It may not be for every car, but before purchasing this step, check where it lands on the door crack as it definitely won't work on mine. :-)
