Works best in remote controls
later It's important to know that you shouldn't expect all the buttons to work like it's a real Samsung remote. My shortcut buttons didn't work and the TV's pairing instructions said to hold the back button and play button for 3 seconds to pair. The mating did not take place. I can access all apps and just turn the TV volume up and down. My lost remote might have controlled my cable box but the TV says it's not a Samsung remote so that feature isn't available.
