I have been using this type of ceramic heater for a long time. I searched Amazon for the best I could find and found this product. Unfortunately, one in three lightbulbs died after just a few days of use. I'm currently using a second bulb and it seems to be working fine. Value for money: I give 3 stars because one of the bulbs was defective. Heat output: I give 5 stars. Make sure you are using the correct ceramic ballast for the lamp wattage you have chosen! Temperature control: I give 4 stars. Such lamps heat up for a long time and cool down for a long time. You also can't "control" the temperature. Power defines heat. If you want to "control" the temperature, you need a device that measures the temperature and turns the lightbulb on/off.
