Review on πŸš— Moroso - 89590 Tire Gauge Protector by Brandon Micali

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Does what it says on the tin but the instructions that come with it are terrible

This product does exactly what it says it does, it protects the Moroso tire pressure sensor. Unfortunately the instructions that came with this product are absolutely terrible hence the 3 star rating. The instructions state that the outlet valve must be removed from the gauge to install the cap, but this is not possible as the screw on the gauge is too tight. I think this is more a fault of the cap than the gauge itself as there is usually no reason for you to disassemble the gauge. Even with a vise and wrench, I couldn't dislodge the exhaust valve from the gauge head, but I did scratch the nut that attached to the hose. In the end, I managed to slowly and carefully place the cap on the head of the gauge along the entire length of the hose. I have no idea if my "feeling instrument" gauge maintained the accuracy it should have after being hit, but Morozeau must seriously consider revising his instructions or his gauge manufacturing process (or both).
