Does what it says on the tin - tire and wheel tools

Seems to do what it says on the tin and in that sense it would get 5 stars. But I agree with other reviewers that it should be part of the sensor itself and not an additional cost option - minus 1 star. It seems to offer the most protection to the edges of the sensor and less to the front and back. return. As such, it's meant to protect against accidental drops, but less so against scratches, dents, etc. from other tools in the toolbox. Installation is simple: remove the hose from the gauge…

You'll regret not buying one

I'll state the obvious - it's overpriced and should be included with the Moroso 89560 gauge because the gauges feel light/cheap (not the entire sensor - only the head). I inflated 8 tires on two of my cars tonight and for each tire I lowered the gauge to the ground twice (to check before and after). If I didn't have this big rubber cover around my gauge it would be scratched by now. The cover protrudes over the edge of the gauge head and protects your investment very well. Also, listening to a…

Nice hard cover! With problems!

This is a very nice heavy duty case for the Auto Meter 2343 I bought and then I saw the case was an add on so I decided to buy both, to protect the meter if I accidentally drop it. . The cover is too large for this gauge and the square cutout for the gauge shaft is in the wrong place. The stem must be centered on the gauge so that the gauge is flush with the front or back of the cap. I only gave one star due to the hassle of shipping to the post office for the return. I tried wrapping tape…

This product does exactly what it says it does, it protects the Moroso tire pressure sensor. Unfortunately the instructions that came with this product are absolutely terrible hence the 3 star rating. The instructions state that the outlet valve must be removed from the gauge to install the cap, but this is not possible as the screw on the gauge is too tight. I think this is more a fault of the cap than the gauge itself as there is usually no reason for you to disassemble the gauge. Even with a

Attaching the cover may be easier than the original art.

There is no installation information on the cover. The only PDF paragraph online says to first remove the hose assembly which is bolted to the hose assembly with large fittings with some sort of putty. heavy things. I followed the other instructions here, lightly coating the rubber with hand soap and running it slightly up and through the bottom of the hose and up the hose to and over the outlet valve and then onto the dial indicator. From there it's a bit like maneuvering a tire on a bike rim,
