Yes. . . Not really usable out of the box. Why? Let me illustrate; see photo #1. There is no pin that goes through the holes on the side. You'll have to figure it out. They contain a very short little rod that only "makes contact" with the NOZZLES at the base. I use the word committed in the broadest sense of the word. The nut that the post goes through goes very loosely into the body's channel, which isn't a problem when the long post goes through the side holes, but when it comes to us it can go half in and half out of the slots. next problem; see photo #2. The bolt is a bit short and the threads in the nut aren't deep enough and the angle the bolt can go through isn't big enough in the sliding jaw, leaving you about 14mm open without a Manipulator. The screw goes all the way down and won't clamp two allen keys (a 10mm and a 4mm), not that you want to clamp them, but I put them there to give you an idea of the dimensions. So we loosen the screw and hook it into the next recess closer to the fixed jaw. Next comes the market. . . The bolt cannot tilt so much that the moving jaw tilts up, see photo #3. If you push the jaw down parallel to the base, the short pin holding the nut will come out of the slot on the underside of the Base. 8mm or so. This means you can't clamp the part from 8mm to 14.5mm unless you use shims. EVEN IN THE EVENT THAT THE SHORT PIN BREAKS OUT OF THE GROOVE WHEN YOU ATTEMPT TO TIGHTEN THE CLAMPING BOLT. This happens anywhere along the entire vise range. See photo #4. What was intended as a handy quick-release mechanism to move the jaw without first pulling the long pin out of the body is actually an untenable obstacle. Perhaps the rest of the vise is accurate and well made. . . Actually, I haven't put it on the surface of the plate yet. Visually looks good. The vise comes with a stamped specification checklist. I was just so blown away they were trying to pass it off as a good idea and I needed some information in this review. Eh . .
