This works perfectly for me. I needed a cell phone holder that would hold my phone just below my car's upper dash. Simply place it in the cup holder and unscrew the nut to expand the base into a snug fit. Once installed, the flexible arm can be easily adjusted to suit your needs. One thing, it has a SHORT flexible arm. If you need it to move more than a few inches, they'll do it with a longer flex arm, too. The phone attaches easily by squeezing the soft side mounts and removes with a simple push of a button on the back. It stays in place and doesn't vibrate, so you can read the map while driving. (After all, I know you're not texting or driving.) And if you need to move it to another car, just tighten the nut to loosen the base in the cup holder. I highly recommend it.
