We specifically bought this wall mount because of its compact size. Our apartment is pretty weird, and the only place we could really put a TV was over the fireplace. There were only two support beams to choose from and they were quite a distance apart so we couldn't get a wider base wall mount as it couldn't be mounted properly. We have a 48" Insignia Roku TV and this mount supports it perfectly. The fireplace isn't centered on the sofa so we can move/tilt the TV at full movement for everyone to have a good view, but then it pushes against the wall. fine when not in use. Bonuses: The bracket comes with a 'template' guide that you can stick on the wall and follow so you know where to drill, but it also comes with a small 'box' under the template that contains the catches chips from the drill. Haven't seen this with other TV mounts so this was a great accessory that made measuring/mounting much easier. We also received an email from Kanto with video instructions and that was a nice touch for customer service. We didn't have to use it but it was nice to know we had it for easy access instead of having to search for it on youtube/google etc when we needed a video. So this is a fantastic wall mount at half the price of a regular full articulation wall mount so I saved money and overall am happy with the product. Great Kanto product!
