I have a house that I swear was lined with Bomb Shelter Bricks. I've never had to deal with anything like this before. I used the largest hole saw in the kit to install the new drain pump outlet through the basement edge joist and exterior brick. Took me a good 15 minutes but this set is ok. As for the bolt and pilot drill, to be honest I still don't like holding them. Once the hole saw starts to bite through a hole big enough to move on its own, I remove the center drill so loosening the screw isn't a problem. It did the job I needed it for and the carbide looks great. I have no doubt that it will take quite a long time. The only problem I had was that after I was done I didn't take the whole saw off the shaft, I just threw it aside. I think it would be better to unzip it while hot. It's hanging at the moment but I think I'll just hit it with a flashlight and rip it off.
