Bought this feather chaser after my cat annihilated the $5 chaser I got from PetSmart. Boy does my cat LOVE it! He is especially obsessed with the little orange worm that came with it. I love that it's long enough for me to sit in my chair or on my couch and flick it around for him to chase WITHOUT being near my feet (he refuses to discern between toys and toes).My biggest concern is the little eyes on the worm I mentioned earlier. They're small, less than 1/4" in diameter; however, I pulled them off after a few rounds of playing just to be safe. If ingested, I think my adult cat would be able to pass them with no problem. However, he's a big boy. If you're thinking of purchasing this for your kittens, or a small cat, I would suggest removing the eyes to be safe. They're only attached with the sticky adhesive standard on the backs of all googly eyes, so they're not hard to pull off, and they're hardly missed. In fact, I reused them for a magnet on my fridge! So no need to toss them completely.
