Everything is fine, but very shaky. I would never buy this again. In fact, I ordered sand that I knew was good and tried to remove as much of it as possible and replace it with good sand. Also, there were a lot of dead bugs (mosquitoes) and red pebbles in it. It just doesn't look very nice at the bottom of my aquarium. Can't wait to get it from there. Still, he was 20 pounds and the right color. Update: The longer I leave this sand in my tank, the more I dislike it. My water has been cloudy for a few days. This continues on day 4 and we have now added two submersible heads/filters to clean the water. Hopefully it will be clear again tomorrow. So bad. I used the materials recommended below in my first aquarium and didn't have any of these problems and immediately watered them without rinsing. I didn't wash it either, but I wish I had. I recommend (very nice): Nature's Ocean No.0 Bio-Activ Live Aragonite Live Sand
