This portable monitor is big. It's the same size as two iPad Airs side by side. I've attached a photo of the monitor below, with a 14-inch Macbook Pro above it, and a 10.86-inch iPad Air above it. However, it really is an incredibly useful presentation tool. I'm on the road for work and often have to demonstrate something, and not every conference room has a projector or television. Or sometimes the settings are missing and using a TV or monitor is not practical. Now I can present my work instead of crowding around my tablet or laptop. This monitor is great because it connects to either my MacBook or iPad with a single USB-C cable. USB-C cable included. It actually includes two USB-C cables, as well as an HDMI cable and power adapter for systems that can't deliver power via USB-C. Overall, this monitor is great, but be aware that it's larger than many other portable monitors. It can be for or against, depending on how you look at it.
