Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good portable monitor for business work. The sound is not very good.

This review is for 15.6 inch Portable Laptop Monitor, Ultra Slim Travel Monitor with Built-in Speakers and Metal Body, USB-C Second Monitor, Gaming Monitor for MacBook/Phone Xbox PS4 PS5 Switch 1080P HDR IPS screen. Arrival: Monitor came in a very attractive box and was well protected, complete with two interface cables, power cord, power adapter and instructions. The monitor itself measures 14 x 9 x 1/2 inches and all other dimensions and controls were as published. The monitor was tested on a Raspberry Pi 400, NVIDIA Jetson Nano and a Windows 11 desktop computer with NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 graphics card. All three computers identified a monitor with a resolution set to 1920 x 1080. All displays were full screen adapters for testing with iPhones on the monitor's Type-C connector was not. and the monitor matched the function. Available to configure the monitor. All tests were good and. Sound Monitor: Sound was weak on all three computers. An amplified speaker can be connected to the monitor's audio output to amplify the signal or switch from the monitor's HDMI audio to the computer's audio outputs. Monitor performance: The monitor's anti-glare coating works as designed when a light source is pointed at it. The monitor was free of flickering videos and static images that could be viewed from any angle. The video quality, e.g. B. saturation, is typical of portable monitors, but below the desktop or laptop standard - overall a monitor with good performance. As a work monitor, it's great. As an entertainment monitor, above average for a portable but below average for a laptop desktop monitor. As I said, sound is also a problem. case for the monitor. The PU leather monitor cover provides adequate protection when closed and is removable. It acts as a support leg, supporting the monitor when in place. The structure is somewhat unstable and the monitor often broke during assembly. Monitor Powering: The monitor was powered from a 12 VDC to 120 VAC/5 VDC inverter via USB 5 VDC and 120 VAC inverter sources and showed no abnormalities. Approval Markings: The monitor carries the UKCA, FCC CE approval mark as a Monitor/Noise/5VDC device. The power supply is not labeled at all. It is recommended to replace the original power supply with a CSA/UL approved power supply. Conclusion: This is a great portable monitor for work. It's lightweight, has a large viewing area, and is thin enough to fit in a laptop backpack. For entertainment this is acceptable; however, another method is needed to amplify the sound. In Windows 11, the sound was routed to the computer's sound system via HDMI.
