Review on Wesco Pet Keet Kozy Woodchew Playnest - Holistic Parakeet Nest by Jane Burns

We adopted a parrot that we found flapping on the street. He had a minor injury and seemed tame, but as the wound healed he became wild and untouchable. He is older, not very active and very self-centered. He often seems bored and lonely and since I couldn't give him any physical attention I decided to add something to his cage to stimulate him. I added a mirror bass he loves and this Cozy Whale. He didn't touch Cozy Kit for the first few weeks, but he started chewing on the wooden bars and frame around his mirror. I started thinking I wasted my money. I decided to adjust the height of the Kozy Keet to mirror and perch height and the next day I noticed him sitting on it and after a couple of hours he was chewing on it! I am delighted to see him engaging in natural and positive activities throughout the day. I can't wait to see what he does as he keeps chiseling it out. Feel free to try even the most stubborn of whales! If they don't like it at first, try putting it off until it piques their interest!
